The Samuel “Eric” Storm Memorial Scholarship Fund was established in memory of Eric Storm, a longtime physical therapist whose career was defined by service to his patients, mentorship of students and a deep commitment to the health-related professions.
A Mississippi native, Eric spent more than 30 years in physical therapy and co-founded Genesis Physical Therapy Clinic in 1993. Throughout his career, he welcomed students into the clinic to observe, learn and consider careers in healthcare, offering guidance and encouragement along the way.
The scholarship carries that legacy forward by providing financial assistance to Mississippi residents pursuing graduate-level degrees in physical therapy, occupational therapy or speech therapy. Applicants must have lived in Mississippi for the past five years and be accepted to or enrolled in an accredited graduate program.
The selected recipient receives a $2,500 award for one academic year.
