Rick Ross MAUE Honorary Scholarship Announces 2025–2026 Recipients

The Rick Ross Madison Avenue Upper Elementary Honorary Scholarship at CFM recently announced its 2025-2026 recipients: Grace “Gracie” Pringle and Elizabeth Argrett. Each student will receive a $2,000 scholarship to support their academic journeys during the Fall 2025 semester.

Gracie will attend the University of Mississippi, and Elizabeth will attend Florida A&M University. Both young women once walked the halls of Madison Avenue Upper Elementary and now carry forward the legacy of hard work, leadership, and resilience celebrated by this scholarship.

Established in 2011 by the Madison Avenue Upper Elementary PTO, this award honors the legacy of former principal Rick Ross, whose leadership left an indelible mark on the school community. Each year, the scholarship recognizes two Madison Central High School seniors who demonstrate perseverance, commitment, and a strong desire to succeed—qualities Mr. Ross championed during his tenure.

During the ceremony, the family noted: “The Rick Ross MAUE Honorary Scholarship is more than financial support. It is an investment in bright futures, a celebration of hard work, perseverance, and determination. The scholarship recognizes students who may not always be in the spotlight but who have demonstrated resilience, dedication, and a strong desire to succeed. These recipients have put in the effort, remained committed, and made a meaningful impact in their school.

This scholarship stands as a promise—a commitment to ensuring that talent and perseverance will never be overlooked. It is a reminder that every dream matters and deserves to be realized.”
