Mississippi Community Foundation Network
Local foundations. Statewide connection.
In 2017, community foundations across Mississippi came together to ensure every county had access to philanthropic support, especially during times of crisis or disaster.
Today, the Mississippi Community Foundation Network connects regional foundations serving all 82 counties. Members meet regularly to share ideas, learn from one another and work together on opportunities and challenges that reach beyond a single community.
Each foundation remains rooted in the people and places it serves, while the network helps strengthen connections, coordination and support across the state.

Press Forward Mississippi
One example of that statewide collaboration is Press Forward Mississippi, the state chapter of a national initiative working to strengthen local news and civic information.
CFM is part of the coalition of Mississippi foundations providing leadership and governance for the initiative. Together, participating foundations help guide statewide efforts, connect resources and strengthen local journalism across Mississippi.
For CFM, that work also includes supporting efforts that expand access to reliable information and strengthen local news across central and southwest Mississippi.
