Stewpot Community Services Endowment Fund

Providing long-term support for people facing hunger, homelessness and other urgent needs in Jackson.

Founded in 1981 by seven Jackson congregations, Stewpot Community Services began as a soup kitchen and has grown into a network of ministries serving people who are hungry, poor and homeless.

Today, Stewpot provides food, shelter, clothing, healthcare, legal assistance, mentoring, outreach and other support through programs including its Community Kitchen, Food Pantry, emergency shelters, Meals on Wheels, Street Outreach, afterschool and summer programs, and health and legal clinics.

The Stewpot Community Services Endowment Fund was established to support the needs of Stewpot Community Services in our community.
