Mississippi Community Response & Recovery Fund
Helping Mississippi communities respond to and recover from disasters and other crises.
The Mississippi Community Response & Recovery Fund was established by the Community Foundation for Mississippi in partnership with Volunteer Mississippi to create a statewide pool of charitable resources that can be deployed when disasters, public health emergencies and other extraordinary events affect communities across the state.
The fund is designed to complement, not replace, local relief efforts. By pooling contributions from foundations, corporations, businesses and individuals, it can help direct larger-scale resources toward communities and organizations serving people who are most vulnerable during a crisis.
An advisory committee appointed by Volunteer Mississippi helps guide how resources are used, with funding directed to trusted partners responding to immediate needs and supporting longer-term recovery.
