The Mississippi Children’s Museum creates engaging experiences designed to inspire curiosity, learning and growth in children. Through interactive exhibits and programs, the museum focuses on literacy, STEAM, health and nutrition, cultural arts and Mississippi heritage.
Since opening in 2010, MCM has grown to include multiple indoor galleries as well as The Literacy Garden, an outdoor learning space designed to encourage early language and reading development through play, art and exploration.
The Mississippi Children’s Museum Endowment Fund provides long-term financial support for the museum. Funds may be used for any purpose deemed necessary and approved by the Mississippi Children’s Museum Board of Directors, helping give the organization flexibility to support its work and priorities over time.
