Living Independence for Everyone Endowment Fund
Helping Mississippians with disabilities live more independently.
Living Independence for Everyone, or L.I.F.E. of Mississippi, is a nonprofit center for independent living that serves people with disabilities in every county across the state.
Since 1993, LIFE has worked to help Mississippians of all ages access information, resources and services that support greater independence and quality of life. The organization has served more than 35,000 individuals with disabilities and provided information to more than 170,000 people.
LIFE’s work is guided by the philosophy, “nothing about us without us,” with board members and staff bringing direct understanding of the experiences of people with disabilities. Services are provided at no cost and are available to Mississippians regardless of age or where they live in the state.
