Learn more about how the Jackson Free Clinic’s fund with CFM helps strengthen its long-term sustainability, supporting both the clinic’s future and its work to provide care for patients today.

The Jackson Free Clinic provides essential medical services to people who may otherwise have difficulty accessing healthcare. Staffed entirely by volunteer medical and healthcare students from the University of Mississippi Medical Center, the clinic offers services including primary care, dentistry, mental health care, women’s health and pharmacy support.

The clinic serves more than 1,000 patients each year while also giving future healthcare professionals meaningful, hands-on experience serving the community. Its volunteer-driven model allows the clinic to provide care across a growing range of needs.

The Jackson Free Clinic Fund provides direct support for this ongoing work, helping cover the resources, services and operational needs required to care for patients.

Gifts to the fund help the clinic continue providing accessible healthcare to uninsured and underserved members of the Jackson community.
