Learn more about how the Jackson Free Clinic’s agency fund with CFM helps strengthen its long-term sustainability, supporting both the clinic’s future and its work to provide care for patients today.
The Jackson Free Clinic provides essential care to people who might otherwise have limited access to healthcare. Staffed entirely by volunteer medical and healthcare students from the University of Mississippi Medical Center, the clinic offers services including primary care, dentistry, mental health care, women’s health and pharmacy support.
Each year, the clinic serves more than 1,000 patients while also giving future healthcare professionals valuable experience working directly with the community. As needs have grown, the clinic has expanded its services to include additional specialty care and more opportunities for patients to receive treatment.
The Jackson Free Clinic Endowment Fund was established to provide a permanent source of support for this work. What began as a small reserve has grown over time, helping the clinic maintain its services, respond to emerging needs and plan for the future.
Through the endowment, donors can help ensure the Jackson Free Clinic continues providing accessible, compassionate care to uninsured patients for generations to come.
