ADMINISTRATION & EVENTS MANAGER

“One of the most meaningful parts of this work is creating spaces where people can connect around a shared purpose. Every event is an opportunity to strengthen relationships, spark new ideas, and help people see the impact that’s possible when we invest in Mississippi together.”

With over 15 years of experience in administrative leadership, event planning, and educational programming, Sandy Quinn is a passionate community builder and nonprofit advocate. As event manager at the Community Foundation for Mississippi, she helps bring to life meaningful experiences like Friendsgiving, CFM’s Mississippi Book Festival pre-celebration, Giving Forward, the Mississippi Rural Placemaking Summit and more — ensuring each event reflects the spirit and impact of CFM’s work.

A proud local and dedicated mom to her teenage son, she brings heart, creativity, and precision to everything from custom event experiences to grassroots initiatives. When she’s not planning unforgettable events or supporting community programs, you’ll find her traveling, enjoying family time, and pouring into Jackson, MS, the place she’s always called home. She’s thrilled to be part of a team committed to connection, collaboration, and lasting impact.
