The Manors Foundation: Building a Community of Support for Kidney Patients
Donivon Duffy’s life changed at 42 when a sudden medical crisis led to dialysis four days a week. As he adjusted to that new reality, he began to notice a challenge facing many other kidney patients: getting to treatment safely and reliably.
In this conversation, Donivon shares how that experience inspired the Manors Foundation and its effort to build a community of trusted drivers who can help patients get to dialysis appointments. He also talks about the hope behind the work, the importance of community trust and why the Foundation chose to establish both the Manors Foundation Fund and Manors Foundation Endowment Fund at the Community Foundation for Mississippi.
Through those funds, supporters have a trusted way to help the Manors Foundation grow its work now and for the future.
