Where local vision
becomes lasting progress.
When people have the right support, more becomes possible for their communities.
A student can afford college. A nonprofit can plan for the future. A neighborhood can bring a long-held idea to life. A community can respond when something unexpected happens.
For more than 30 years,
the Community Foundation for Mississippi has been that connection point in central and southwest Mississippi. We steward charitable funds, scholarships, and endowments. We award grants and handle the back-office work that keeps organizations running. And we bring what doesn’t show up on a balance sheet — trusted relationships, deep local knowledge, and an unwavering commitment to the people and places we call home.
When those pieces come together around a shared purpose, resources go further, commitment runs deeper, and what gets built holds.
