The Radiant Community Fund
Supporting community development and neighborhood-led progress in Jackson’s Mid-City.

The Radiant Community Fund supports the work of the Mid-City Community Development Corporation and its efforts to improve quality of life for residents in Jackson’s Mid-City neighborhood.
MCCDC was founded by Horace Kelly, who transformed an abandoned house on Wood Street into a community center that has since hosted meetings, after-school programs, family gatherings and other neighborhood activities. Today, Akili and Dr. Ashlee Kelly are helping carry that work forward through community engagement, planning and partnerships focused on the future of Mid-City.
The fund supports MCCDC programs and community development efforts, including work that helps residents identify local priorities, strengthen neighborhood connections and move community ideas into action.
