Established in 2011 by the Madison Avenue Upper Elementary PTO, the Rick Ross Madison Avenue Upper Elementary Honorary Scholarship honors the legacy of former principal Rick Ross and the qualities he encouraged in students throughout his leadership.
The scholarship is awarded to one or more Madison Central High School seniors for achievement, with a preference for two recipients each year when funding allows. Special consideration is given to students who have demonstrated perseverance, dedication and a strong desire to succeed, particularly those who may have limited access to other scholarship support.
The award celebrates students whose hard work and resilience may not always place them in the spotlight but whose commitment and potential deserve recognition and encouragement.
