MSBA - Broadband Connect and Literacy Fund

Helping close Mississippi’s digital divide through access, skills and technology.

The Mississippi Broadband Association created the Broadband Connect and Literacy Fund to help remove barriers to digital access across Mississippi. The fund is built around three priorities: affordable broadband connectivity, digital literacy and access to devices.

Through partnerships with community organizations, educational institutions and local leaders, the initiative works to connect residents with information about affordable internet options, provide digital literacy training and expand opportunities for device ownership.

The fund supports this work as well as grantmaking focused on broadband expansion and literacy, helping communities develop local partnerships and resources that make it easier for more Mississippians to participate in an increasingly digital world.
