Mississippi Symphony Orchestra Foundation Endowment Fund
Supporting symphonic music, education and performance across Mississippi.
The Mississippi Symphony Orchestra is the state’s largest professional performing arts organization, reaching more than 75,000 people each year through more than 120 concerts and performances statewide.
Based in Jackson, the MSO presents full orchestra, chamber and pops concerts while also touring communities across Mississippi through its orchestra and resident ensembles. Its season includes performances at Thalia Mara Hall, chamber concerts in smaller venues, special events and community performances across the state.
Education is also a major part of the Orchestra’s work. MSO supports the Mississippi Symphony Youth Orchestras and provides music education opportunities for young people through daily string instruction, children’s concerts, school visits, festivals, competitions and summer programs.
The Mississippi Symphony Orchestra Foundation Endowment Fund provides long-term financial support for the Orchestra’s general programs, operations and capital improvements, helping sustain performances, education and access to symphonic music across Mississippi.
