Mississippi Film Society founder Ryan Parker shares how the organization is building a statewide community around film and how its partnership with the Community Foundation for Mississippi helps make that work possible.
The Mississippi Film Society Fund supports the organization’s current work to increase appreciation for, understanding of and participation in the cinematic arts.
Gifts to the fund help make community screenings, festivals, lectures, workshops and other film-related programs possible, creating more opportunities for Mississippians to learn, connect and experience film together.
Unlike the Mississippi Film Society Endowment Fund, which is designed to provide long-term support, this fund helps provide resources for the organization’s ongoing programs and activities.
