JXN Water Scholarship

Supporting students interested in the future of water and wastewater management.

The JXN Water Scholarship Fund provides financial assistance to high school seniors in Hinds County who plan to pursue a STEM degree that could lead to a career in water and wastewater operations and management.

The scholarship was created in response to workforce challenges facing Jackson’s water system and the need to build a stronger pipeline of trained professionals for the future.

Eligible students include seniors attending Jackson Public Schools, Hinds County School District high schools and Clinton High School who plan to attend Hinds Community College at a Hinds County campus or Jackson State University. Four students are selected to receive a $2,500 scholarship for one academic year.
